Updates!

When was the last time I updated? May sometime.... Oops.

Well, good news, I'm updating!! I've finished a custom, almost finished another, and been working on some new miniatures!

I also received some new small ponies for my birthday...
This lil chubby nugget

And this cutie to add to my foal army, now with four. World domination
coming soon.

  The finished miniatures are magazines...

The chubby nugget is displeased that the magazines are almost as big
as she is
And different plastic drink bottle things....
Ginger ale, water, and orange pop (soda)

The size of the bottles., about hock height on a Stablemate

I'm quite fond of the labels...
The magazines are just printed out covers with folded paper in them, I think they're simple yet cute! The bottles are cut glue gun glue sticks, some are painted, with hand painted labels and plain caps. They aren't the best or most realistic, but I really like them and hope to improve as I practise....

My completed custom is on the Classics Amelia mold, the 2014 horse of the year...
  Before...

 And after...

Ignore my hand...

She's a bay overo (I think...) with one blue eye and one brown eye. She's quite grainy, and I'm not really liking her markings. I'm thinking about redoing her, maybe to a chestnut or silver bay...

My WIP is a little Schleich arab, well, now is a pintabian...

She's a flaxen chestnut paint.....? I love her shading! I'm really proud of my work on her and can't wait to complete her! She still needs eyes, hooves, pinking, and touch-ups before she can be given a final coat of matte spray and deemed finished! She's just so... squishable! My friend also dubbed her Mezzie. Mezzie the Squishable filly.

And that concludes my wonderful updates. Its summer now, so I have a lot more time to work on minis and ponies, which I'm definitely going to do! I hope to prime some more horses soon, so keep your eyes open for those!

Also, Charlotte, because I know your reading this, Happy Belated Birthday!
