Mini Monday

Happy Mini Monday!

The other day I made several mini books, a shelf, pencils, and a pencil holder! Here they are!

The thing on top is a riding crop. I'm not a huge fan of it, so I'm not showing it.
If you'd really like to see it then I guess I'll show it...

The books have pages!

I'm sorry, I wasn't able to get close ups of a pencil. My camera just doesn't go so mini. I'm very pleased with all this! The shelf is about a centimetre higher then Ravel's (Idocus mold) withers.  The shelf is going in my tack room once I make it! I also may build a desk to go with it!

In my next post(s) I'll be showing the nylon western-y bridle I made for Ravel and a little custom I've been working on!

Hairy Horses

All talk and no do! Finally, here are some pictures of my recently completed and haired Stock Horse Foal!

I love his tail! It's so poofy His manes alright, one side is significantly shorter then the other... But he does look rather dashing now, he's no longer a poor, bald pony sitting on my shelf!

Tomorrow is Monday. Mini Monday. Be prepared for many mini things.

Dressage Fence

This week I made some 1:9 scale dressage fencing. It turned out great! Here it is-

I remembered to jot down all the measurements, so I can make more! It's not 100% realistic, but I like it and am going to be (hopefully!) making enough for a full on arena.

Here it is with my stock foal!

Gah! The front fence is backwards....
And a sneak peek at his hairing!

I'm hoping to get Totalis (not sure about spelling) so I can make dressage scenes! I've also heard great reviews about him and his said to be astounding detailing! I have seen him briefly on a shelf at my tack shop when I popped in for something horsey! He is pretty nice.

I bought and found some tools for tack making today. Mini pliers and pokey sharp things... Heeheeheeheeheeeheeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Painted Minis

Here are some micro minis I've painted! And the Stablemate, he's nearly done! They all do have a lot to a little bit of brushstrokes, grainy-ness, and rough areas.. I'm hoping to work my way out of that, specially with white markings (tips anyone?!). But I love them all the same!!

This lil girl was my first ever repaint! Done with a pompom!

My favorite and most recent for last! She's also my most successful paint! I love her markings!!

She isn't quite done, as you can see the absence of eyes. I really love her markings, like I said, first successful ones!

Okay, now for the stablemate! He's a cherry bay paint. My first try at pasteling. I was originally going to make him black with brown undertones, but I do not have to correct pastel colours so he became a cherry bay!

Don't mind the fact that there's no logo!

He has muzzle pinking, but my camera didn't pick it up. It is quite suttle! His head is lighter and slightly more black then the rest of the body because of the colour change. I'm no the biggest fan of his markings, but I love him lots! For my first act at pasteling, he worked out great!

I will be doing a post about some (awesome) mini stuff I've been making, dressage fencing that I find quite nice, and my recently haired stock horse foal! Have a paint-tastic evening!

Stuff that hopefully gets uploaded

Hello! I'm sorry I haven't posted much... But I have quite a few customs on the go! I also finished that Action Stock Horse foal! He finally got a mane and tail! So stay tuned for those guys!
To make this post interesting, here are two realistic Schelich photos I took today!

These two are just too adorable!!

'Tis the season

'Tis the season to prime ponies, falalallalala. Deck the halls with cans of primer, falalalalala.

It's finally warm enough here for me to prime and paint outside! It has been for a while, but today I guess it becomes official... Although Newsworthy's bridle was made a few weeks ago and I was working outside.. Speaking of that bridle I haven't made any progress on it. None at all. The reins have yet to be made and I need to re-glue the throat latch. Back to customs, they are all stablemate sized. I will post something with them, as I would like some colour suggestions!

I'm very sorry for not posting in a while! But I am hoping to begin a few models, so that should inspire a few bloggings!

Photo Shoots

I haven't been making tack or working on tack much. I have times like this, for about two weeks I don't make or do anything, then BAM. I have three customs going, four halters, a saddle pattern, two bridles, and splint boots. So instead of being totally inactive, here are some pics of the boys in realistic pictures!

If only I could edit out his stand!!!

A random Schleich... He takes really nice photos!
I really love feet shots

I really enjoy going out and getting photos! I do have snow pictures that turned out fantastic! Sato really looks nice in them! I didn't get one of dear Sato in this post! Next time.

I'm also getting a dwarf hamster. This hamster is going to have a ton of fun running around in my old schleich barns when he's not in his cage!
