Super Stall

Today, I decided that my lil' 1:32 guys needed some love. So they got a new stall. And this stall is a pretty nice one...

I decided an artsy pic or two were in order... These two are some of my favourite stablemate shots yet!!
Particularly love this one, so proud of my camera for getting this mini!

It didn't take me all to long, half an hour at the most. Several of my SMs got out and became famous, I'd forgotten how nice some of them are... It's made out of popsicle sticks for the walls, toothpicks for the bars, chain and wire for the stall guard, cardboard for the floor and name plate, all stuck together with some good ol' hot glue!

The structural part is finished, although I may need to make a new hook on the stall guard. I need to add the details and props (props, is that the right word..?) such as shavings, a water bucket, maybe a hook on the half-door, maybe a feed bin, and possibly a few ribbons.

I'm glad to have finally finished something. I have a bridle, several customs, a photoshoot, and several other things on the go that haven't been worked on in a while... I have a good reason for some others.... not so much. All in good time, my friends, all in good time.

More Customs!

Recently, I started another new custom. It is her second paint job, but I messed up the last time and just decided to re do her. She was a flea-bitten grey, but for the base coat I pasteled her so that I could have made her a dapple! Now, she is becoming a black pintabian. Here she is, although I only got one photo, the rest were crappy.

Don't mind the absence of a watermark. I wasn't going to post this one.

The large marking on her off side hip is going to be covered, I don't like it much. And the marking by her tail is going to be made larger. I absolutely love her face marking! I'm debating weather or not I should paint the one eye blue... She's a longgggg way from done, as her markings have only one or two layers, so the eyes are a ways away.

I've also been working on my $1 deal. He hasn't had much recent work, since this girl and homework have gotten in the way. He's darkening nicely, and I hope to finish him soon enough..

Well that's all for now! I'm working on some minis, so look forward to that!!

Updates...

Why hello there my dear blog readers. Sorry for not posting in a while! School has got me quite occupied! Homework and such leaves little time for plastic ponies. And I may or may not have discovered Doctor Who...

Anyways, this post is an update. Here are all the thing that have gone on or need to be posted...

I managed to get a good photo of this little dude! He looks really cute and foal like in this photo! Although my painting skill lessens in the eyes...

I also made a water trough from a tutorial on YouTube. I made it a little to wide, so it's just a titch out of scale. Although it will make a good background prop.

My favourite part about it is the very water like water! It's reflective like the real thing and looks a lot like water!

Also, John Henry found the treats.

Black Caviar is looking very, very snazzy. I really like this set on her! The colours really look nice!
And here is her (unfinished) fleece lined blanket. Handsewn, cut, all that jazz!

Well that all for now!! I hope everyone has a good start to the school year!
